Hi all I hope I’ve posted this in the right section

My dp’s been doing my head in today, it started with an obsession to hoover and clean the house which got half done as he’s fed up of living in a house which I can’t keep clean. I did have a cleaner but she stopped coming without notice mths ago and I’ve been trying to do little bits each day. Which some of you can appreciate is a battle in itself….

He’s been so hot he’s turned on fans to full pelt, I’m stood in the room freezing with a coat on and he walks out of the room, so I turn the fan off, take my coat off to have him walk back in and turn the blooming thing back on and walks out again! Argh men!!

He’s broken 2 of my plant pots, by trying to do things for me when I’m capable but no he insists….. argh 2 pots down he gives in and I manage to save the others. (Was drilling holes in the bottom for drainage).

He’s been so wound up he’s jumped at anything the kids do wrong and then you go and say something and nothings wrong but seconds later he’s a different man! To add to matters anything he touches he drops, knocks over…. He always seems to do a good job too! Screws flying, a tub of mini muffins off the side!

He normally gets this wound up when it’s a Sunday but that’s down to the fact that he has to go back to work tomorrow! So I just don’t get it today….. Is it male pmt or habit?

Please tell me I’m not alone ladies!! This Bank Holiday is turning out to be a challenging one!

Becky and MumSam.......some excellent advice there! I also like to fall back on a good old-fashioned throttling if he pushes his luck too much!

xxx

I've always found a short, sharp whack with the frying pan, puts a stop to men's tantrums and annoying antics lol
It also seems to works to jog their memory too!!
