Things always happen in threes, don't they.

Well, there we were, Max, Tom, mum and I enjoying a lovely morning out at the park when Max decides to wrestle with some wild nettles.  On the way to the First Aider Max gets stung by a wasp, and then to top it off he trips and falls onto a park bench, cutting his eye on the corner.

Max's eye looks a bloody pulp, he's crying, I'm frantic and so bundle kids and mum into the car and sped up the bypass (remembering to slooooow right down near work-lololo).

The NHS were brill.  The Triage nurse was lovely and accessed him as priority.  The Doctor was equally efficient.  He explained it was a superficial cut, but there would be swelling and bruising, which had already started.  Max's eye looks droopy and he only has part vision in it, but it'll go down after a couple of days so the doc says.  Our whole hospital experience took less than an hour - that's good for LCH.

I've tried to post a pic of his injury on here but again, the server won't let me so I'll post it in me FaceBook page tonight for you to gander at and think has he done ten rounds with Tyson.

Hope your Bank Holiday Monday went better than ours!

Vix, I wouldn't agree with that one because it always happens to Max - lololololol.  He must be getting his lil bro's share because Tom always comes out unscathed.

Just had a quick peep at his photo, he certainly did take a good bashing didnt he, poor thing.
I'd hate to see what state the bench was in lol
I hope it doesn't take to long to heal up, it looks very sore indeed.
