No-one seems to be listening to you.  I can understand your frustration.

I remembered from a previous post something about a car or some furniture in the garden. That's what I was referring to.  Your neighbours seem intolerant if they can't wait for some grass seeds to grow.  It's obvious you're making an effort - they should leave you to it, in my opinion.

They don't seem to have much else to do than to watch you.  It's eerie.

The Police won't do much, because to be frank, they've got bigger fish to fry, and unless you or another party come to harm they're not legally obliged to do anything.  There's no legislation around stalking at the moment although I watched a documentary a few nights ago which indicated that laws around stalking were in the process of being passed.

But then I s'pose you get into the legal argument of what is harassment/stalking and how can it be proved....argh!  Nightmare.

Please don't do anything stupid, it really isn't worth it.  You're more sensible than that and your little family need you and love you.  Don't let these silly little people get you down - raise above it.  Good luck, bug and keep that chin up.  You show 'em you won't be beaten!

You need to ignore her and rise above it.  Get net curtains for the windows too and don't let her peep in.  If she shouts at you blank her out.  Are these the same neighbours who have been giving you problems for a couple of years?  Did one of them not go to jail?

Just focus on your kids and how much they need you.  Have you got a wee part time job or hobby?  (edit- stupid me forgot you're pregnant!) That might help you focus on somethig else other than this woman and what she does.  Most neighbourhoods have a nosey neighbour, you just need to see they're harmless and not give them anything to talk about like Zo says.  Why is she shouting at your friends- do they make a noise or come at odd hours- do they park in front of her driveway or anything that could annoy her?  Just have a word with your friends to be more sensitive and not give the woman any cause to shout.

Chin up, we're all here all over the country for you.  As you said, you don't need the hassle, you've enough in your life to b getting on with.

Hi Sam

Im so sorry you seem to be having a rough time of it, i dont really know what to say, just try and ignore the old bag, if you see her staring in just draw the curtains or blinds or get some net curtains like zoe said. If you have put some grass seed down then your garden should be looking fine in a couple of months so dont worry there. Not sure what else she is complaining about but try and not give her any reason to complain and maybe if it is a close community they may even accept you and your family, show her that you are a decent person just trying your best, does she know your pg? coul you talk to her carmly and ask what her problem is and tell her how upsetting her behaviour is on your family and that you just want a quiet life.

On the police issue if he was that rude to you then put in a complaint, there is no way he should of spoke to you like that.

Huge hugs and hope things get sorted for you xxx
