a posh loooking cd rom to watch all about her comp she starts in september

its a really good idea, it tells her everythig she can expect from the school, her class helped make it by doing some of the voice overs teamed up with the kids from the comp

think shes a bit nervous too to be honest

having a heart attack about the amount of stuff we need to buy her OMG it costs a fortune. oh the joy of kids

Awww that seems kinda sweet that the school want to try and make them feel welcome in that way.

It's scary changing schools, i hope she has a fun time and settles quickly.

The cost of uniforms seems silly now days when you look at the list of things they have to have.

yeah i know

bronwen is stil in primary so asada is great for her stuff but comp they have to have certain things with the school logo on it bronwens t shirts are 3 for 3 tops and laurens are now 8.00 for one!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the a similar problem at my sons primary school (before we moved for dp's job), he had to have specific items, logo t-shirts for pe and everyday, certain style of shorts and trousers, jumpers and pe bags all with logo, not to mention book bags and sunhats and winter ones!

There was only one shop where these items where available and i saved pennies etc and found out that once i was in there and ordered it they said are you paying for it all now or in stages.... well urm now as it's 2mths before school starts. But i could order the stuff, have it put aside and pay it off bit by bit, yes they kept the items till payment was recieved in full but they would also swap for the larger sizes if the child had a growth spurt.... saves worry about can i get this etc. Might be worth asking if the place you have to get your items from offer a similar service.
