omg i am going out of my head! dd been potty trained for months then just before xmas went backwards while on holiday due to wee infection, then got bit better but now 7 mnths after training she has completely reverted! she denies she needs the loo even though its running down her legs. screams if i ask her to sit on potty. but then she wees every pair of knickers doesn't bat an eye lid, doesn't tell me or nothing so don't i think its for attention. took her to dr incase its another infection but its not and they didn't seem to want to help me.

what do i do? i find i am getting very angery with her now which makes her scared to tell me when she has wet i think.

she has stayed at my dads this weekend and they have complained that she has completelt wet every time right through all ther clothes( but then again they prob don't notice the her symptoms of needins the loo, you know the little dance they all do).

Am starting to get really upset by it and all the coments people keep making.

Is it because of the baby coming?

do i put her back into nappies?

 even brought her expensive night garden knicks and told her not to get upsy daisy wet but didn't work, tried bribery, didn't work, stopped her going out with friends, didn't work, do a potty dance and song, doesn't work, rewards don't work. Am i missing something?

Really don't know what to do, its been so long now.

Hun i'm sorry i can't offer many words of advice but i do know madz was having this problem with Eds. He'd vertually cracked it but is refusing all knowledge of wanting to go and has a paddy if you try and make him.

I'm hoping it's a stage for all of you who are having this kinda hic cup, and i hope it passes soon.

Hiya hun,
I would suggest not to put her back into nappies or pull ups, that would just confuse her even more and let her think its okay to start weeing herself again.
Have you tried her on the toilet, if she doesn't like using the potty?
Both of my girls couldnt stand and simply wouldnt use the potty full stop, but as soon as they sarted using the loo, they were fully trained in days.

Also, i do understand how frustrated you must feel with her going backwards instead of forwards, but try not to show your anger at her.. as she may feel insecure or scared when accidents do happen.
Try to really praise her when she goes to the loo/potty to give her more confidence that she can be a big girl, and ignore best you can the mistakes she has.

And lastly, i would say, ignore everybodys coments about it.. all lo's develop in their own times, so as long as you stay continuous and commited with her, im sure she will get the hang of it back in no time.

personally I would start from scratch again.  Keep her in knicks and don't leave the house for a few days if that's possible...ask her every so often if she needs a wee/poo and if she says no, then just get on with whatever you are doing...don't try anything like reward charts, bribes, anything...if she wets herself simply clean her and the wee up and get new knicks on her without saying anything except "don't worry, next time tell mummy" and give her no other reaction at all...

see how you get on, if you see no improvement after a few days, or even a week, then if she is not just having the odd accident but she is weeing every time, then sit her down and tell her that if she carries on weeing everywhere, she will have to go back in nappies..if she carries on, then I would attempt to put her back in nappies..something has obviously put her off and maybe you need a bit of time before trying again?  I'd really try not to make a big deal of it as they pick up on even the smallest reaction...I know it's hard, one day when Ellie weed for about the 5th time, I burst into tears!!

You say she's not 3 till October, then I think she is still very young to worry about  her being potty trained...really try not to worry about it, good luck!
