Joshua has always loved his food. He eats a very good diet, filled with fresh foods. He doesn't like many processed foods, chips, sausages, fish fingers etc he really wont eat, which isn't a bad thing. Although he has never been a massive eater, little and often is his way, he's suddenly gone completely off his food. All week he has brought his lunch box back having only nibbled at his sandwich. He's only wanted yoghurt for breakfast, and then he's not eaten it all (they are snacksize Muller corners). He's also not eating a great deal in the evenings. He's not snacking so I know he's not hungry, I also know its really warm. Is it so usual to go from eating everything to nothing in this weather. I know Im not as hungry as normal in the heat, but at least Im eating bits. He has just had a growth spurt too (6cms!!) and if food wasnt nailed down he ate it for about 2-3 weeks lol

Are your los eating less in this weather? Do they usually stop eating after a growth spurt?

Sophie goes off her food when it's really warm so I just offer her light meals, but nothing puts Adam of his grub, lol. The only time he used to go off his nosh was when he was teething.

Lucky you hun! lol Trying to get food into Fred is a huge problem, however Winston loves his, but he has started eating less this last week.  It may be that he has just gone through a growth spurt.  I wouldn't worry too much, he'll be eating you out of house and home again soon enough!

Mine rarely eat a proper, full cooked meal when the weather is warmer than were used to.
They just pick as and when they want to, so as long as he's getting something.. he should still be fine, especially as the forecast isnt too good for a while yet!
I agree with Vix, he will be back eating anything and everything soon.

Chris, you know how enormous my food bills are.  My children love to eat!  Their diet is varied.

They eat  the good things but eat 'naughty' things too.  They have treats, and have their own likes and dislikes.  Tom is a fruitarian and would choose a pear over chocolate anyday.  Max takes after me and is a real chocoholic.

I don't see any harm in them having processed foods sometimes, my lifestyle is so hectic that I haven't always got the time nor the energy to peel veggies and wait for meals to be cooked.  I mean, there's no-one else here to share the burden - lololol.
