Woke up this morning to the blazing rays of the hot sunshine through my window. It was lovely. After getting up and sitting out in the back for a short while I decided we should go out and have some fun. We packed everything in the car and set off for Rhyl (it has everything for a day out lol) Anyway, ended up going to the Sun Centre which is an indoor water park. We had a fantastic time, splishing and splashing. The front is all glass so the sun was shining through. Joshua loved all the slides and the storm effect (heavy sprinklers rained down and the pool developed waves every 15 minutes lol.. oh and thunder sounds lol) We were in there all afternoon, time just went by us.

After ages I told Joshua 10 minutes, then we were going and I didnt get a single complaint. He carried on playing and minutes later, flying down the slide I think he had way too much water in his gut because he was sick everywhere (really was not nice, joys of being a parent huh!?!) The pool staff were great and made a fuss of him so he didnt get upset (he was really embarrassed). He was ok afterwards, had a drink and shower and felt fine. Although the day must have worn him out, in the car on the way home he was fast asleep within 10 minutes lol Bless!

It felt really good to be soaking wet splashing around while the hot sunshine shined down!

Awww hun sounds like a fab time.

Glad they where ok with him being poorly. It must have been heaven being inside with the water and the sunshine! Glad you had a splashing time.

Said child is wide awake and seeing how I feel so bad him lying in bed just playing and getting up for a wee every 5 minutes to say hi, I decided to let him snuggle up on the sofa just now lol Hopefully he'll fall asleep quicker all curled up lol

wow!! Sounds like you had an absolutely amazing time hun!! Im very jealous! Its been blooming freezing here all day!! Hoping that it gets warmer for 2moro as its my mums birthday and we were hoping to go out to lunch and chill for the day!!
