hi all, does anyone know if it's possible to have chicken pox twice, our neigbours daughter was playing with my two last week, the day after she told us her daughter was covered in chicken pox. Both my daughters have had it before, however the eldest one has come out in blister type spots that look suspiciously like chicken pox, she's been itching away. I have heard that you can have them again but everything i've read about it says you can't.

any ideas anyone

cheers jackie

It is totally possible!

My dad has is everytime he goes near kids with it, he gets it really bad, i remember last time he was doubled up on the floor with it! Some people don't build up enough immunity to the virus. Keep an eye on her xxx

Yup it is very possible to have them again. Hope your lo is ok, and it isn't going to be a bad dose of them. Get her to the doctors because if it is chicken pox it'll need to go on her medical record that she has had them. Try giving her antihistamines for the itching, and calomine lotion for the spots xxxx
