hi all, just thought i'd have a whinge, just got back from tesco after struggling with crutches, and basket and my bag. painful and awkward. just prepared tea whilst sitting down, kids where playing in the back garden milly has fell of sthe slide an she's fine by the way, i nearly crippled myself getting ouside quickly, then must of stepped funny on the stairs and thought i was split in two. I am supposed to go back to work on thursday but i'm not sure what to do, i would have to take my crutches in but the thought of it is getting me anxious and i'm really not sure i could do the job with them

I'm not up on spd at all, but surely if you cant walk unaided.. then you have the right to be on sick pay still.. or disability benefit?
Sorry if thats not the case for what ever reason, (I know nothing lol) but if you feel like you couldn't cope going back to work.. then i'd try and get something arranged sooner rather than leaving it any later before you decide whats best for you.
Like Tsena said, you could always give it a go for just one day and see how you feel, although from your posts you've made recently, personally, i think it will be a big struggle for you to manage and we wouldn't want you to risk further harm or injury to yourself.

I hope you find a solution thats best for you hun.
Good Luck.
