I had an incident a few months ago where I never received my item, and I had wait 10 days before I got an email saying I was getting a refund, no explanation given until I asked, when I was told it had gone out of stock, obviously I was not happy! I looked at there near perfect feedbcak to find loads had been mutually withdrawn. Many people had left neutral feedback for lack of items and poor descriptions, and then negative ones had been return with a negative comment then mutually withdrawn. Many of the neutrals also had a negative in return with 'poor communication' on it. I decided against leaving any feedback at all so I didnt receive the retaliation. This system is excellent to protect buyers from sellers like these! Before this incident I never read the feedback, just took the percentage as a guide!
I do respect it'll be abused by some people, but to be honest on a whole I think it'll be fairly used, and sellers are still protected, and unnecessary negative feedback can be withdrawn by ebay.
