I'd love to come as m2j knows but it clashes with my mum and dad's 25th wedding anniversary.

Would have loved to meet some of you ladies and put a name to the face etc.

Im gonna have to say sorry i can't make it too.. Wedding is in a few weeks and all the spare cash i have is going towards that..

I/ we will try. Fingers crossed and we'll make it by train. It's about 2 hours from us.

DP has had a bad spell with his mental health and I've been exhausted with looking after and supporting him as well as DD who will be 4 soon. However he's recovering slowly and has managed to give me an hour's break twice this week.

Ok, I only had 2 yes's when I pm'd everyone who showed an interest, and now Ive said I'd cancel it as there seemed little interest for the amount of travelling it would require. Im confused what to do now lol

The problem we have is its not exactly local for everyone, its central, so some people (myself included) will have to travel a fair distance. I didnt think this was fair for such small numbers, but now it seems some more of you are interested. I really would love for this to go ahead, so I guess its up to those that are definitley going - if you are still happy to travel and risk the numbers being low then we'll do it as planned.

So, Do you want the meet to go ahead? North Pier, Blackpool,  11am on Saturday 9th August 2008!

If just one other madmum says yes definitely they'll be there then we'll have the meet and hope that many more join us!!
