I TRIED LILY WITH MANGO LAST WEEK IT WAS V SWEET

SHE WASNT KEEM BUT ATE HALF, SHE BROUGHT IT ALL BACK NOT LONG AFTER!

IVE GOT A HORRID FEELING IT WASNT RIPE!

BEING A BIT THICK I THOUGHT IF IT WAS SQUISHY IT WAS RIPE, OR IS THAT INCORRECT??

OH YOU COULD LILP U NEED TO LOOK AT ALL THE FRUIT N VEG IN ASDA NEXT TIME U GO IN N BUY ONE A WEEK THAT YOUVE NOT TRIED BEFORE!

I DO THAT AT SCHOOL TO TEACH THE CHILDREN TO RECOGNISE THEM, THEN WE TASTE THEM AT CAFE TIME!

Ooh good idea - im gonna invest in a childrens cook book (guessing those recipes will b easier 2 follow) but really i want 2 b able 2 cook proper food for ryan so im gonna try 2 learn asap

LILP THE ANNABEL KARMEL BOOK IS GOOD U CAN GET IT ON EBAY CHEAPLY THO!

If the mango was a deep orange colour and soft it was ripe.  It is quite acidic as a fruit that might be why Peg bought it all back up, you could try mixing it with something like apple that is sweeter and not so harsh on the tummy.

FLOPSY WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING YOU MUFFI!!!!

MumSam is guru on all things weaning , the book I've got (going onto solids) says the same thing.

Lil P - may sound stupid but get the Ladybird cookbooks - Easy Meals and Learn to cook. Most of the stuff we eat comes out of those books - THEY'RE FAB!!!!

My mum bought me easy meals and learn to cook with mother when I was 6!! I've kept them ever since cos they're fab!

Speciality chicken and strawberry flummery...... mmmmmmmmmmmm
