BOUGHT A FEW KIWI WAITED UNTIL THEY WERE RIPE

PUT THEM WITH APPLE N PEAR N LILY REFUSED POINT BLANK TO EAT IT!

HER LIPS WERE PURSED!!

I DONT LIKE KIWI BUT WANT LILY TO TRY THINGS WHICH IM NOT KEEN ON-TO DEVELOP HER TASTES!

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY BRIGHT IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO WITH IT??

Hmm lorna mentioned kiwi on gems weaning thread so maybe im wrong

Helenc said no citrus fruits yet but theres  loads in the tubs i giv ryan suitable from 4m

i didnt get kiwi  and i'm not going too far a while i dont think leo will like the tangy taste. if your happy giving lily it then maybe you should try her again with it. leo sometimes has his off days.xx

There was a report that suggested a lot of children were allergic to Kiwi fruit.  The kiwi is part of the strawberry family and a lot of people are allergic to strawberries so if you have allergies in the family it's best to wait to give it.  It's normally the pips that cause problems the same with tomatoes.  If you have no allergy worries then you can give them.  Kiwi and melon is meant to be nice together.  I haven't tried it myself as we do have allergies in our family.  Try it as a finger food, you said Peg had some cucumuber last week give it the same as you did the cucumer see if she likes it unmushed.
