well, what a great day we had.  The primary school teacher went to nursery today to get all the 'council' paperwork done, and where as the 2 other moms (it's a very small school) were out in 10 minutes flat, I was there chatting to the teacher for 35 mins.  We discussed Fred's problems, that I know he has, and she is very much looking forward to Fred's development officer getting a meeting arranged, so that we can see what extra help she will get in the class, especially for Fred!  They won't take him if he is in pull ups, but as he is refusing to toilet train, then she is double checking with the head teacher, but they have said they won't change him if he has a dirty bum. If they get the extra help through the social services and education boards (which I am now lost about, something between whose budget it will come out of), that is specifically to help Fred in personal matters, then they are definitely saying YES!  So all in all a positive thing, and she is willing to accept him into the class!
