I have PCOS and insulin resistance so I find it difficult to loose weight. I have gone from a 10/12 to a 16 in 2 years and although its not huge, its not what I want. I have a dietitian, and my GP is supportive. I follow a great diet, mainly low GI but also watch what kind of fats I eat and how much carbs. I even weigh some of my foods and count the calories (I have hardly ever in the last 6 months of strict dieting eaten more that 1500 calories a day) yet I still cant loose weight. I really need to do more exercise, I used to do so much. I looked into joining the gym, but they dont have a creche so I have no where to leave lo. I live 120 miles away from family, and I cant ask friends for regular baby sitting duties, we all take it in turns to have a mass of kids through the week so I get a couple of hours to myself thats it. Joshua doesn't have any contact with his dad, so again no time off. I cant just pop out for a jog. I did try jogging along side Joshua when he rode his bike but he starts and stops so it hardly rises a heart beat lol.. same with me cycling next to him. Ive got a twister, and a stepper but truth is once I have done the house work, bath routine, bedtime routine, cleaned up from dinner all I want to do it sit down. I work all day so by 8pm thats me done and warn out lol We have a wii, and we do play for a couple of hours at weekend, but again in the evenings Im just too tired (I dont have the wii fit YET!)

So inbetween all that waffling what Im asking is how do you juggle keeping in shape whilst managing a lo? Have you any ideas of things I can do that work around work and being a mum? I really want to shake this weight of, and diet alone isn't doing it!

Thanks xx

Gosh Chris, if all that hasn't made a difference, i dont know what will tbh!
I'm exhusted just reading it lol
Have you got any fitness DVD's? Something that has a good soundtrack to bop along to. Both you and Joshua could have fun together working out for just half an hour a day.

How about a home gym, just someting small that you could use during what spare time you have?
An excersice bike/rowing machine/cross trainer.. whatever equipment you fancy.
Or get a small trampoline which helps raise your heart beat.

I do soooo much walking a day i should resemble Kate Moss.. but its just not happening for me either hun lolololol
Good luck
