...or rather stopped, lol.  Today is day one of my quitting smoking.  I have my patch on my arm and have only needed my nasal spray once today so far and I've been awake for 4 hours.  The kids are 100% behind me and I'm still as determind as ever.

I'm taking one minute at a time at the moment as opposed to one day at a time as I'm such a heavy smoker, the habbit of just reaching for a cigarette is going to be there for a while.  I've put my nasal spray where I used to keep my fags and ashtray so if I'm that desperate I'll use the spray.

Wish me luck everyone, I need it!

Thank you hun, I really appriciate it.  Half way through the day and so far so good.  Not stressing, not really craving and I've only used my spray twice so far.

Good luck babes - we're all behind you.

I quit nearly 4 years ago - I was on 20+ a day so I sort of understand what you are going through!

Awwww hunny how are you doing this evening now the kids are in bed?

I think your doing a fantastic thing for yourself and your family. Yes you'll have days that are more testing and with the kids being on hols well they might be a help or another word beginging with h lol but they will be the best reminder of why you choose to bite the bullet so to speak.
