Had my check up this morning - monitoring my loss of waters, as some of you know. Adam is fine - very active and 'happy' - which is a big relief. Have been feeling a bit unwell over the weekend - antibios aren't agreeing with me, and had a couple of 'gushes' of my waters again - so wanted to know he's still ok where he is!

I've to keep on the antibios for the next five days - so will have to suffer the upset tum for a bit longer. I saw the consultant today - and she explained what the plan is. I'm back on Friday for more blood tests etc, and to get Adam monitored again. I'll be 36 weeks by then. Then they plan to induce me at 37 weeks - unless Adam becomes 'unhappy', I get an infection, or I go by myself in the meantime! I've to take my temp 3 times a day to keep an eye on things too.

So - not too long to go now, whatever happens!I'm excited - and a bit nervous too! lol

xxx

Back at hospital again this morning for another check - Adam totally fine - head fully engaged, she couldn't move him at all (which I had guessed anyway - he was 4/5ths 3 weeks ago, and has dropped since, but yesterday I stood up and felt like he was going to fall out!! hehe! Ever since, I have been shuffling along, barely able to walk - so was pretty sure he was engaged). Bloods came back fine, BP etc normal - so back on Friday morning to see the consultant re: induction!!

Have had major backache since yesterday, and some painful braxton hicks - so have my fingers crossed something may be slowly happening by itself anyway. I had Cameron at 37 weeks so here's hoping!

Thanks for asking after me - you're right bopbop - can sometimes hardly stand in this heat - so lightheaded! Nevermind, not long til Adam's here - hopefully still be some nice weather for me to enjoy too!
