It sounds to me like ligament stretching - I suffered with that around 8 weeks.

It is also possible its a urine infection which are very comman in pregnancy so it would be worth checking with your GP.

Are they all across or just on one side? I had cramps down one side for a while and they were worried I had an eptopic pregnancy so they did an early scan but all was ok.

I'm sure its nothing but its always worth having a word with your gp.

If you are at all concerned contact either your gp or mw, I had that with both my last 2 pg's and it drove me nuts!  I never knew whether it was a good sign or bad, but mine were both healthy!

Hi Jodie !

I'm 16 weeks gone and have had those cramps too for about the past 6 weeks. I was at the midwife today and she told me exactly what Madzwalker said to you, ligament stretching !!!

I'm still getting it now, im not sure how long it lasts but you get used to them

Good luck xxx
