I was just washing Joshua's hair over the bath, I just quickly pooled the water to throw over his head (I was just washing the gel out for bed). I'd almost finished and was just rinsing when I obviously got a hot spot on in the cup. I poured it over his head not knowing and he screamed the place down. Ive pour cold water over since and checked. It looks pinkish, but I cant see any blisters, but his hair is thicker and longer now that he wants spikes, so not clear to see. He has calmed down a lot since it happened, and although he says his bed hurts he doesn't look in too much discomfort. If it was going to blister would it have done so already? Anywhere else on his body and I'd have just kept cold packs on him, but he wont keep anything on his head thats cold. Im not sure what to do

Awwwww Chris... poor Joshua  I used to work in a cafe kitchen and regularly burn myself, and my skin always blistered straight away. I have to admit, I've never burnt my head like that, however I have had really bad surn burn on my scalp. My head didn't blister, it was just sore for a few days, then the redness faded and it healed. Obviously sunburn and water burns are different, but I would have thought if it was anything major it would look more visibly angry, and he'd be in much more pain. Just keep an eye on him, but I'm sure he'll be fine
