As for the shingles i find it silly that your gp surgery missed it... i'm sure you'll be having a strongly worded quite word. x

Glad your home now and can plan it into the next mth's things to do list..... hopefully you won't take too long to recover babes xx

No wonder you have felt so ill with Shingles!!  My Nan had shingles 2 years ago and is under the pain clinic at her hospital as she still sufferes from pain because of it.  Not long until Op though that's good news.  Off to see if you have taken your turn now...

As we said earlier - Locums can be really useless! Argh! I hope you can now get your shingles treated properly and start to feel better!

Best of luck with the op - im so pleased you have a date now!

Right then, doc still aint convinced its shingles, however, when two nurses and a consultant made a positive diagnosis, I know which one I believe.  So, anyway, I have these huuuge antifungal tablets which I have to take 5 of per day for 7 days.

My mum has been banned from the house as she is on methatrexate (an anti-cancer drug) for her skin and has a low immune system.  Im taking next week off work so that I can juggle the child-care and also hopefully recouperate.

So there we have it, like I have said on many occasions, I would hate to be normal - life would be soooo boring!!!!

Thanks everyone for your support and kind words xxxxxxxxx

Awww nikki hugs hunny.

It really is like getting blood from a stone to get doctors to agree! I hope the medication he's put you on does the trick though and without too many side effects.

xxx
