< Thats me at the moment!

First my lovely new bath lift didnt work and they cant get an engineer out for over a week! Grr I was so looking forward to my first bath in... I really cant remember how long!

Never mind I thought, everything else is ok.

Then today mum went and picked up my new wheelchair from the red cross - and they gave her a transit one not a self propelling one like I'd asked for. I'm going out with the girls tomorrow night and it was going to be depressing enough needing to use a wheelchair when I went out, as I never thought I'd get back to the stage of needing one, let alone having to ask one of my friends I havent seen for a few months to push me round town!

Mum and I are going to try and change it tomorrow - I really hope I can.

So the bets are on - what will be number 3?

aww no thats a right pain poor you madz and no wonder your feeling angry, why don't these things get tested before they get dispatched as its a right let down when your looking forward to using something then you find that its broke, keep on at them and hopefully they will get fed up and send the engineer round sooner lol, fingers crossed you get the wheel chair you want tomorrow Hun but if not I'm 100% sure one of your mates wouldn't mind pushing you round - have a great night and have a drink for me lol luv jue xxx

No number 3 yet ...

Ive been told I can swap the wheelchair today so hopefully that will be ok.

I have also had my Occupational Therapist on the phone and she is going to pester the OT stores to send an engineer out urgently. Hurrah - its so nice to have someone on my side.

I had a wonderful lady go through my DLA forms with me yesterday. So thats now gone off and should be back in 12 weeks, if I get accepted I will also get back dated pay.

Its chucking it down at the moment - hope it stops before tonight!
