Hello, newbie here. I wonder if you could give me some advice?
I'm off to see the doc later this afternoon with the hope that he might give me an early pregnancy blood test. Am not yet officially late - two days to go, but I have an extra long cycle (37 days) and have only been off the pill for six months.

I've had nausea for the last two weeks - like seasickness. Not actually been sick, but it's definitely very strong, sore breasts, extreme exhaustion, violent mood swings, constipation, the lot! I definitely FEEL pregnant. Thing is, I've done a few home pregnancy tests and they've all been negative. Could it just be too early? And will a blood test be any better?

My emotions are all over the place at the moment, so any advice would be really appreciated. Have gone from dreading this to really hoping it's true. Not planned but now so so desperately wanted!! x x

I have never had a blood test to confirm pregnancy - I know they arent carried out very frequently but you might be lucky.

It is still early to be testing and your symptoms could indicate pregnancy but the problem is sometimes when we think something is true our bobies can create the symptoms in us to make us believe it.

Good luck - unfortunately there isnt much you can do but wait and see what happens. I hope your doctor is more informative.

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah - that's what I'm worried about, that I've gone and made it all up in my head, or worse, that there's a whole new level of broody I didn't know about. This is certainly the first time I've ever felt like this - physically, mentally and emotionally!

I'm not really expecting the doctor to shed much more light to be honest, but if I'm not pregnant then something's going on with my hormones. Oh well I guess I'll find out soon so fingers crossed. Thanks again xx
