Hey everyone. My hubby and I rarely agree on what to watch, I like EastEnders, Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model and X-Factor. He likes documentries and football. I was wondering what the rest of you watch that both you and your other half enjoy?

This post has made me realise 1 of the good points of being single! I like to watch all the soaps, Heroes, casualty, Holby, the list goes on and on. The only time I have to fight for the tv is at weekends then its only the kids and I can watch most things online, or listen to my music while they get to watch. Lucky they like the same afternoon programmes. We have family time watching Strictly Come Dancing and X factor, bit of a late night for them on Sats but I dont mind as they are in bed by 6.30/7 during the week

Oh I am a secret Americas next top model fan (ok not so secret anymore!) Hubby doesnt watch it though. I also watch Holby City, Doctors and Neighbours. I love cooking programs like Masterchef goes large, Market Kitchen and Come dine with me - hubby watches these with me. I also like property programs like Property ladder and grand designs. DH particually likes grand designs.

Hubby likes fishing programs, football, etc.

We both like QI, Mock the Week, Antiques Roadshow, Time Team.

We're quite varied really and I'm afraid in this house I have more control over the remote than DH.

My brain is mush so I will add more when it is in working order again.

In our house the remote belongs to me! lol other than cookery programmes dh and I like completely different things! He likes ANY sports and history stuff, I like all the girlie stuff like strictly, xfactor, soaps etc... I'm spoilt and usually get my own way as to what we have on!

We both love F1 and most motorsports, i like real life crime and documentries and love Miami Ink.

It also helps that dp is at work 4 days out of the week until the early hours so i can watch what i want really.

I have to say Im odd as far as strictly is concerned as I wouldnt say I particually like it but I seem to be almost adicted to watching it! DH hates it but is very good at letting me watch things even if he doesnt enjoy them (although I normally have to put fishing on after!).

I watched Americas Next Top Model last night and he was none too impressed!

We both like Roadwars, Streetwars, Most Haunted, X-Factor and Strictly Come Dancing.  We also watch Jeremy Kyle - just to put into perspective that we are a relatively normal household!
