Ok ladies, I shouldn't be asking this as I have had 5, but how long do the back teeth take to come through? Winston is 2 years 3 months old, and over the last 2 weeks has dribbled more than I have drunk in coffee. Every top he gets on is drenched within minutes of being in place, and he doesn't like the wet feeling so has to have a clean one (not a good trait in my house lol), he has been living up to his Whiney Winston name, and by whiney I mean full on whinge if anything goes wrong. I am dosing him up, purely and simply so he is easier to get along with, but although his gums are red, there is no sign of a white tooth yet!

Gee this teethings a pain eh !!
Can't remember how long it takes but am in the middle of first molars coming through with Matthew, have you tried anbesol liquid, get it over the counter, it doesn't stop the drool but numbs the gums, much better than teething gel that just slides off

I go through the same with Eds Vix - whenever he has cut a teeth - or indeed when he has a cold - he dribbles like mad. I found cloth bibs helped as they are easier to change than a whole T-shirt. Or a muslin with a whole cut in it for his head to put over his T-shirt to protect it?
Eds really struggled with teething from 10 weeks old so I fully symathise!
