I haven't personal experience of TTC, it just happened.

If I remember correctly from Life Science lessons the ovum (egg) released at ovulation lives for 2 days after released and sperm which enters during intercourse can survive up to 3 days. This therefore means that fertilisation can occur if intercourse occurs anytime within a 5 day window. Up to 3 days before ovulation and 2 days after.

We mostly just leave it up to chance that we are hitting the right days lol , but that due to my cycle being all over the shop too .

Hi, I chart but I don't use fertility friend myself I use ovusoft as I foudn it a lot more straight forward to use.  I could have a look at your chart if you send me a link to it.  There can be lots of reasons for not getting an accurate chart.  Are you using a thermometer that goes to 2 decimal places?  Do you take your temp at the same time every morning and if not do you adjust the temp accordingly (if you take it later your temp will be higher than it normally would taken at the same time).  Do you know what your coverline is for this month and do you have any temps below it?  There is a possibility you haven't ovulated and your body keeps gearing up for it and for some reason it's not happened yet which gives you a chart that jumps up and down the coverline.  Have you been on holiday this month?  Travelling? Worried? Stressed?  All of these are things that can delay ovulation.
