The Toy Retailers Association today release their 2008 dream toy list, these are the toys that are expected to be most popular for Christmas 2008 but I'm not sure if they factored in the effects of Laurel and Hardy Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling on the economy into the equation when making their prediction, anyway the top 12 look like this:-
Games Top 12 Toys for Christmas
20Q Hand Held Mattel RRP £10.99
Bop It Extreme 2 Hasbro RRP £19.99
Cluedo Hasbro RRP £14.99
Disney Princess Magic Mirror Game Jumbo RRP £14.99
High School Musical 2 DVD Board Game Mattel RRP £24.99
In The Night Garden Play Path Hasbro RRP £29.99
Kids Are All Right Electronic Game Vivid Imaginations RRP £19.99
Monopoly Here & Now: World Edition Hasbro RRP £24.99

Wasn't 20Q one of the top games last year? A lot of them sound like board games which is odd given that everyone seems to play console games now. I have always wanted a bop it as they look cool but I have no idea what they do...

I had a Bop It, and the original is better than the extreme, IMO, and the extreme has been out for ages! I was shocked to see that list tbh, I cant imagine many of those being at the top of a kids wish list!

That's just the Top 12 predicted, taken from all the categories, for the top 12 for each category you need to read the article.
Just for information Wooworths are doing 3 for 2 on toys at the moment, this includes a lot of top toys, so there are some real saving to be made if you can afford to buy for Christmas now, but the offer ends this Sunday. Details can be found via the banner below.
