Morgan is 3 and is undergoing different assessments to establish if he has autistim/aspergers.

We are due to go on the 2nd Feb 2010 for a Ruth Griffiths test not sure what this entails so if anyone on here has had little ones that have had this pls get in touch!

He often has violent outbursts and doesn't interact with other kids apart from his brothers and sisters but that has to be on his terms. our day has to be strictly structured or i have an awful day. He needs alot of care out and about he doesn't sense danger so we now have a special needs buggy which makes my life alot easier. He is due to start school after easter 2010 but i have been told that he might not be going to main stream school and need to go to a special school.

We have just started the Stepping Stones programme which i'm not really finding very useful, 2 weeks ago they made me feel such an awful parent. but i got to stick with it for Morgans sake.

I also think he may have abit of OCD he has to wash his hands loads during the day, and he has an obsession with wet wipes, the poor dog even has to have his paws cleaned lol

He has been referred to OT aswell as they think he has a coordination disorder.

He was born with Torticollis which he still has but his range of Movement is alot better so the professionals think theres nothing else to do for him even tho he has facial assymetery. The Torticollis caused Morgan to have Plagiocephaly which the NHS deemed as cosmetic so we fundraised for him to have Helmet therapy.

if anyones little ones are going through the same it would be nice to chat with you, sometimes you feel like your on your own!
