Everytime I give Lily any solids she gets a red rash on both sides of her head.

At first I thought she was allergic to something but have tried her with loads of things and it still comes.

It only happens when she eats and goes away pretty much as soon as she is finished!

Just wondering if anyone had come across this before?

where abouts is the rash?

i know you said the sides of her head; but at the top, or her cheeks?

my lily goes a bit red when she eats; but it tends to be cos shes filling her nappy at the same time!

When you or your baby eat your metabolism kicks in which increases your temperature slightly it could be this that is giving her a flushed look in her face that looks like a rash to you.  It could also be teething and when she eats the rash shows up more.  If in doubt ask your hv see if she can shed any light on it and let us know what she says.

My youngest daughter always used to look red when eating but she also had exsema on her cheeks and was intolerant to a lot of foods.

Thanks for that

It appears just near her temples

I'll say to the HV when she's in for her 8 month check next month.
