Leo was weighed again and weighs the same as last week he hasnt even put on an oz, i'm not that worried tho, just thought he'd be a little bit hevier as i've started to give him rusk anyway he's 11lb and 1/2oz and is 14 weeks thursday!!!

Was the hv concerned? Doesnt sound like anyhting to worry about.

Bob has just been weighed and he is now 10 ib 20z he is 8 weeks on Thu - he was only 61b 10oz born but he feeds non stop. He takes about 4-5 oz every 2 to 3 hrs. The HV said Ive got to starve him but he screames for Bok - time for the pacifer me thinks (sorry jopsy)

hi madz no she said its quite normal in the heat we have been getting i didnt tell her about the rusks didnt want a telling off

I know how you feel. I put ed to sleep on his tummy but I lie everytime I speak to a hv coz i dont want a telling off.

I'm his mum and I know best for him, just like yo do for your lo. I think its unfair that they make us feel so guilty!

I've just got back from the HV too - I told her that I wanted to buy some formula milk (ready made cartons) in case of emergency when I'm out and have not left enough expressed milk with the babysitter (I constantly worry about this when I'm out lol) - told her I've no intention of using it but just want to have a couple in just on case and asked her to recommend which brand I should get - honestly, you'd have thought I'd said I wanted to feed Ellie fresh pigs blood the face she pulled!!!

i lied when i started giving svannah food but then my hv shouted at me and told me to start weaning her at 3 months and she used to scream but she loves food now!
