I wouldn't worry about it, I think Fred is about the same as last week, but he is having 2 solid feeds and he's only 11 weeks.  He's been on solids for 5 weeks now, and he's eating the equivalent of 1.5 rusks each time.  He's content, and yes I got told off, but I'd rather tell them the truth that way if I have problems they know where I'm at! But he has dropped a feed this week in the heat!, and he's still sleeping though 12 hours, so I have no complaints!

I thnk they get paid to p us off!  The fun part is with my hv, it's the same one I had when I had all 3 of mine, and it was her advice I was following the first time round, this time it's all changed, and she recognises that which is good for me, but the hv i had last week i didn't like, she just rubbed me up the wrong way, and I've learnt to just treat their advice like I do with so much other stuff, I listen acknowledge and ignore! the other hv knows I will do it my way, she just asks that I take it slowly and when she found out I'd started weaning fred told me what to look for in the way of problems.  She said you'll do it your way anyway, but if you do have problems let me know and we'll try and sort them out! So she's not bad!

My sister is convinced that health visitors exist purely to make us feel like we're inadequate and crap mothers! I thought she was over exagerating it, then met mine!!!

Fortunately, shes now retired and the new one is lovely....

Like you say, you know your lo best and in anycase, when I was born, my mum had me on solids at 2 weeks and I'm not alergic to anything nor do I have 2 heads...!

my hv is great, she listenes to wot i say and though she has to go by what textbooks say she knows by now i will only do what feels right for me and the kids.  I took Aimee for her first jabs last week and she just said u know the routine by now, lets get it over with, checked that i was ok with it all then left me to it.  She's always got an open ear for anyone though bless her, she's that busy lately i think they doubled her workload.
