LOL!!! Not this one!! This was from "Going on to Solids" by some old biddy....

I have a fab lentil receipe somewhere, but can't find it... Will hunt it out and post it. My sis used to make it for her eldest, and it was soooo nice, I used to make it to take to work for lunch!!! LOL!

ok, Rainbow Casserole:

1tbsp olive oil, small onion, small red pepper diced, 4oz frozen peas, 4oz frozen or tinned sweetcorn, 4 floz water.  Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onion and pepper and cook for 3 mins.  Add peas and sweetcorn, cover with the water - bring to boil and simmer for 3-4 mins.  Serve on it's own or with mashed potato.

Bean and root mash:

1 medium potato, 3oz swede, small knob butter, 4 tbsp beans (low salt/sugar), 1 hard boiled egg.   cook potato and swede - drain and mash with the butter.  heat the beans and mash or chop - peel the egg and throw the white away.  mash the yolk into the beans and potato.  yum yum!

his recipes are fussy but theyre quite tasty-i make them up as i dont own a recipe book

toms tasters include:

I do a fish one. I just cook the fish (microwave steam normally) then mix it with potato and a cheese sauce (homemade of course). Ed loves it (so do I!)

Fishy stew

Rianna loves this

Small pice of plain cod diced

finely dice, 2 mediumsized potatoes, 1 large carrot, half a courgette, half a parsnip, and some swede(optional), and about quarter of a large onion.

chuck it all into a sauce pan, sprinkle some mixed herbs and about half a crushed clove of garlic, and a handful of peas.

cover with water so it just covers the food, simmer for roughly half hour 45 mins til veggies nice and soft.

grate some cheese and stir in while still hot, to your own taste, obviously not too strong.

et voila ready to serve, even dh loves it
