Marrow Provencale (this is GORGEOUS!)

You'll need:  a marrow, big onion, mushrooms, tin chopped toms, tom puree, cheddar cheese

skin the marrow and cut lengthways, remove seeds and cut it into inch chunks

fry in a little butter/oil under golden brown, remove from pan

fry onions and mushrooms, add the marrow back in and add tin toms and squirt tom puree

put half of this mix into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top,

add the rest of the marrow mix and add more cheese on top

bake in oven (180 degrees C) for 30 mins

I put it in the blender for a quick zuzz when it has cooled down -

you can freeze it too
