I've only just seen this thread - so sorry for the late one..
Stac - if its any consolation, I've been on the meds for 6 months now and I still have bad days. I go through phases of having a low patch, then things lift a bit again. I've not been too well with my asthma recently too and thats not helped matters, and Ella has an ear infection at the mo which again doesn't make for a happy household.
But - that said, things are definately much better than they were. I've said it before but I find the suport I get from this site invaluable. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you all. (sick bag please!!)
One thing I have found that really helps me is getting out of the house every day - even if its only to walk round the block. For me, getting out is a real issue and I often get to the door and have a panic attack... but then I open the door, and jump out (not literally!!!! ) and once I'm off, it really does help. I'm going to get myself a proper waterproof jacket cos I'm determind to keep this up and I got soaked today!!! as it really does help.
And I keep forgetting to take my tablets too. I now have a box on top of the fridge with all the tablets in and have written a massive note that says "DON'T FORGET TO TAKE TABLETS!!!" on the side!! Everyone who sees it laughs, and I tell them its my multi-vits, but it really is the only way I remember!!!
Hugs to all - and would encourage anyone whos feeling low to post and get it off your chest. You all know I do, and you all help so much with your replies
