I need some help...

Travis has been fazing his puddings out recently (not like him)  and now he dosnt want his main meal???  Im so confused really.  I dont want him to fed himself as he wouldnt get much in his mouth!

He likes finger food and has carrot, cucumber, and a rusk on his highchair table.  Although he has had those 3 things yesterday and threw up pbucket loads at bedtime when I picked him up.

I know Im giving him them again..... MIL said when they start crawling they can get upset tummys from putting fingers in mouth etc.  Its the only thing he'll eat though?

Has anyone got any ideas?

OK, am no expert but I see from another post that his 3rd tooth is on the way? Well apparently teething can put them off their food.

Ella has really cut down on her food the last 2 weeks, and I've put that down to her being ill, but when I saw the doc on tuesday, he said that the ear ache, and the teething will put her off food and as long as she's drinking, not to worry (easy for him to say!!!)

I'd say stick with whatever he will eat, and if his appitite doesn't pick up in a week or so, mention it to your HV. I'm trying to give Ella her faves at the mo, with mixed sucess. It seems she's off my cooking at the mo, but hey who can blame her!!!

Fingers crossed that he picks up again soon. Hugs to both!!!

His 3rd toothy is coming through, maybe its that, he seems to want to feed himself?  Should I let him?  Although he hardly gets any in his mouth.

Lorna - thats how they learn to do it, the more practice they get the better they do it

i'd just go with what he wants with Harry i gave him a spoon and i used another spoon and we both tried to take turns lol, its extremly messy but so much fun, let him guide you as to what he wants

Good luck x
