Ella has a rash on her bum. Now I was warned that the anti-biotics could do this, but she's been on this lot since tuesday. She's also teething and as she's on anti-b's, she's pooing for britain and they're a bit radioactive....

It doesn't seem to be bothering her, she doesn't have a temp and it does go if you press on it (always check that one!!!)

Has anyone else's lo had antibiotics and got a rash? Its mainly on the front - if you know what I mean!! Round her lady bits!!!

I'm smothering it in sudocrem - any other suggestions?

Oooo Rin, I had some of that Bepanthen when I was feeding her... I'll have to look to see if I've still got some...

Do they sell it in supermarkets do you think, or would I need a pharmacists?

As she is on anti-b's and has developed a rash it is worth taking her to get checked out for thrush.  Anti-b's cause thrush which looks like nappy rash.

I use Bepanthen too it's great.

yup sudo & air r the best things

Ryans only had nappy rash once, at 1 nappy change, i used sudo & it was gone at the next nappy change

let the air get 2 her bum after uv cleaned her up & dont put sudo on until ur about 2 put a new nappy on - i think thats the best way

hope shes better soon
