yes Ellie has a rash on her lady bits too - I have been blaming her teeth as well!

I use sudocrem on ellie but the midwife did say not to put it on thick because this stops the barrier stuff in the nappy working properly?  so she said to only put it on in a thin layer....

I have been told wisked egg white is very good for nappy rash..and yes it does work

I haven't heard of the egg white one in a long time.  It used to be used for bedsores too.  The idea was to put the egg white on and then leave the nappy off until the egg white dried.  Scientifically it has been proved the egg white did nothing it was leaving the nappy off that helped....  It was thought that the protein in the egg white helped but it doesn't actually penetrate the skin.
