last 2 days my dd has had a rash on the top of her bottom, its quite raised and pink but it hasnt got any worse, its kinda stayed the same. it seemed to appear when i put a pampers nappy on (she usually has huggies) do i put anything on it or just leave it?

Little girls do tend to get nappy rash more than little boys.  If you think it is the pampers nappy obviously don't use pampers go back to the huggies.  Bepanthen cream is very good for nappy rash.  If it's not going in a couple of days pop to the gp as it might be thrush which little girls are also very prone too.  If you would like a natural remedie then live natural yoghurt is very cooling and soothing and leave her without a nappy for an hour a day.

Aww hope shes getting better

Ryan only gets nappy rash wen hes teething & sudocrem seems 2 work but like Sam said it might also b thrush if it doesnt clear

its nearly gone now, although ive binned the pampers nappies because it went worse when id put another on. thanks guys x

Personally i dont rate pampers so i would say it was them. but i fully reccommend bepanthen its fab and works wonders.

I have the opposite problem with all my kids if I used Huggies they had terrible nappy rash but Pampers Active Fit they are fine with.  Must just be something in the nappy that they are sensitive to.  Glad it's clearing up now.

thanks, ive been realy lucky uptill now shes never had nappy rash or anything like that, but ive noticed a tooth coming thru today so i suppose it may be related?

Ollie is the same at the moment and is being a real grump tonight, he has 7 teeth now and I am sure they are getting worse not better!
