ok it's arrived!

the blooming things are made in bridgwater-sam could've brought one down for me yesterday! pah!

the box was battered! told ebayer!

it seems ok, feels q comfy now i just need to persuade lily that she likes it!

it's just like a shelf for her lil bottom to sit on, so i still need to wrap an arm around her. i am not so sure it would work for a fat baby!i'll have to bborrow one and see!

prob is she's a bit well, a lot wriggly!

ill try it over the next few days and give my honest (brutal) opinion

right, i went out today with just the hip carrier (no buggy or baby bjorn to fall back on)

lily wasnt too bad for the first 30 mins-i had her on my right hip and had my right arm around her-my arm began to ache, thats the only way of keeping them on!

then she began to get wriggle pants!

i went to plymco for some bits and tried her on the left hip-no joy there! so i put it on my tum-that she hated-cos she couldnt see anything so she pulled my hair!

i'll persevere!!

saying that my back didnt hurt-all in all i was wearing it for about 2 hrs

I bought one off ebay, but still don't know about it.  I'm thinking of selling it on!  Achht well.   I thought it would have helped but I don't use it as often as I would like.

How is yours Jopsy?

It looks really good especially now ellen is toddling and when she gets tiered she makes me and john ache.  Would save traveling with a pushchair just to nip to the shops.

You will have to let us know how u get on with it lorna x

these sound like a nifty idea-but i'm not sure tom would keep still long enough to be in one!  now he's walking really well i like to take him out on the lead-pmsl.

note to jopsy: according to his centile he is a big baby if you wanna borrow him for your hip carrier review!
