Marmite - does your baby love it or hate it???
Ed loves marmite sarnies and adores twiglets (Dont worry this isnt his stable diet) He was nicking them off me at mums the other day and ate loads and he prefers marmite sarnies to any other at the moment.

I haven't tried Ollie on Marmite yet. He only ate toast for the first time yesterday, he pulls such funny faces if you give him bread or toast. He sat pulling a face and eating the toast. Not sure when I will try him with Marmite as Fran couldn't eat it as a baby it made her vomit and not just a little bit, not a pretty sight. She had a playgroup party when she was 3 and they had twiglets, she ate 2 and continued to vomit for the rest of the day, yuck...
Hmm have just read the Marmite website and they don't reccommend Marmite for children under a year old due to it's salt content:

ewww!
I thought you were going to tell me off about the salt content Sam. I thought of you while I gave it to him coz I know it does contain salt but he only has a tiny amount.

ROFL no I wasn't going to comment on the salt but Marmite have themselves....
It isn't something I would have thought about myself. They do say it is low in sugar and low in fat so I can't see how a small amount would do much harm as long as you are watching salt content in other foods.
