Comfortblankets.co.uk was started by a mother as a result of her daughter's blankie going missing. Here is the story...
When my daughter was born, the mother of my best friend gave me a present that she spotted during a holiday. This was a travel-size blanket especially designed as a baby comforter. Little did I know how attached Brooke would become to this gift.
By the time she was six months old, it accompanied her on all journeys, as well as to bed. One day whilst on holiday, it disappeared and despite all our efforts, we couldn't find it. Brooke was practically inconsolable so I rashly promised her to buy another one just like it. Unfortunately I found it impossible to track down a replacement.
All I could find were regular-size blankets. There was nothing on the market even remotely similar to the one that she had lost. So I decided to create my own version. Soon my friends and family wanted 'blankies' too - and this is basically how 'ComfortBlankets.co.uk' came about!
Since our launch, we have grown from strength to strength. We now have over 150 stockists and have a worldwide customer base.
