Leo is having a joint christening with his cousin molly (2weeks between them)

We have loads of people coming and people have started to ask what i want for a prezzy!!! ive told people the list of things that he needs which really isnt alot as he has so much already, Now ive run out id ideas and ive had 4 phone calls today with people asking what they should get, I dont like receiving money to me thats not very personall (each to there own) i dont want him ending up with loads of gold/silver because i dont like a baby boy in (bling) my sister had told me that my brother is getting him a st christopher gold chain which i dont mind just the 1 chain, Please dont think i'm beeing fussy i just dont see the point in receiving gifts that hes never going to wear etc, someone has already got him the silver first tooth first curl of hair silver boxes etc,

So anybody witha  few ideas would be great thanks

It depends whether people want to buy something for him to keep forever or just for now.  Something like the baby einstien dvd's might be nice.  Books like the Harry Potter series or Narnia series, Roald Dahl, classics that you can read to him when he is older.  Do you need any pictures for his bedroom wall?  Another thing you could suggest if you don't want to ask for money (I wouldn't want to either) is for people to put money into his trust fund to go with the money the government sends you for when he is older.

I've heard people giving a star or acre of moon which is kinda nic. I still love looking at some of my christenig presents (bibles, silver ratle money box etc) and mainly its some of the 'classic' book sets like the chronicles of Narnia that still mean the most.

I was going to suggest books. Me and dp always buy books for christening. Classics like the peter rabbit series or wind in the willows or winnie the pooh books.

CTF is also a great idea.

Or how about a nice keepsake box if you havent got one to keep all his baby bits in.

In our family we always got a nice crockery set for our cristening which we used as a child for our dinners. And a cutlery set as well.

I'll let u know if i think of anything else.
