I'm geting paranoid about this now, but Ella is poorly - AGAIN!!!

I took her to the docs on monday as she's had a rotten cold and was really chesty. She spent sunday night propped up on my chest all night. Turned out she had a throat and ear infection, so yet again the doc prescribed anti biotics for her. He wasn't going to as she had them less than a month ago, but her ear was sooooo red, he did.

So anyway, she didn't seem to be getting better and her nappy rash re-appeared and last night, she was really really fretfull and kept going bright red. Not a rash, but solid red. She was also sweated right through her sleep suit and grobag, but when I checked her temp, it was only 36 degrees, then 35.8 later on. She eventually went to sleep and after an "interesting" night, she woke up with a rash. Again, no temp.

So we went to the docs (he thinks I'm stalking him...) and she now has a chest infection, thrush and a ................ virus!!! He thought to start with that the rash looked like german measels, but he got another doc in and they decided it wasn't. I've got to keep an eye on her and if anything worsens, to take her straight down - no appt needed.

She's coughing like mad and is really clingy. I've been carrying her around in the sling today as she just won't let me put her down.

Poor kid. She always seems to have something!

I just hope she picks up soon....

Awww poor little thing!!!!

Virus rashes are so misleading..I was forever rushing joshua to the walk in centre or doctors, you can never be too sure! There are so many bugs flying around, once you get one your immune system lowers are you get more and more. im sure she will start to pick up real soon. Plenty of fluids and rest, keeping bugged filled people away so she can recover in peace lol

Big hugz and speedy well wishes xxxxx

Awww hope she feels better soon. I think they just go through periods where they pick one thing up after another.

When Beks was 7 months she got every bug going and unfortunately everyone she got I also got straight after her

You feel so sorry for them when they are not well.

Sending big get well wishes your way Ella.
