This is a political film about corruption within the oil industry.  very gritty with fast paced direction working around different stories to do with the subject.  the film is based around several different characters: a CIA man, an oil economist working for a middle east royal prince, american oil ceos and a disenchanted ex oil worker.

very gritty, depressing but thought provoking. 

starring George Clooney, Matt Damon and Christopher Plummer.
