Hi 1st of all u need to read problem at school on the school age forum.

Well i went in 4 the meeting with rachels teacher this morning.  She is really really nice.  She seemed 2 recognise there was a problem as she agreed with eveything i was saying.  The thing is the helper that rachel has had a problem with is a volenteer helper so really she is giving up her free time 2 help but that is no excuse to treat my child the way she does.

Rachels teacher is going to get the headmistress involved and have a word with the helper and on the mornings that the helper is in Rachels teacher is going to give her jobs to do away from my daughter for a while.

I think its a bit of a result 4 now anyway.

I'm glad they are taking you and your daughter seriously.

Seems like a good result, I hope that it sorts the problem and your little girl goes back to enjoying school again!

wow that is excellent hun!  That sounds like a really good school your lo is going to!  The teachers do realise that younger kids don't need that at the start of school! 

Good for you  for standing your ground!  Lets hope the rest of her schooling is just as good as how they have started!
