hey,

Well i just mix in whatever iv got lol

Raspberries, stawberries, cherries, melon, and blackberries mashed up and then added to babyrice is a huge hit with Kaydee

Tried mash and butternut squash today and she liked that!

Mixed veg (carrot/broccili/swede) is a good one

Finger foods kaydee has is rice cakes, rusks, ham, bread, and mini milks! (only a few weeks ago when it was baking hot out lol)

Im gonna try toast/cheese/sandwhiches/cucumber/banana (whole not mushed) and some others this month.

Its getting exciting now she can eat most things lol

I started feeding fred solids that i did stewed fruit with baby rice etc, but having said that because he was so young, he used to gripe alot, I've now put him on jars until he's about 16 weeks to see how I go so my recipe at the moment would be get a jar and a spoon, and shovel it in! at the speed he eats it i should use a shovel!

a simple and easy one for all ages.  Potato hash.  Potatoes, peas, onion, carrots and corned beef all cooked together in gravy.  I cook the diced spuds first, then add the veg, once it's all cooked make the gravy using some of thewater the veg has cooked in.  Once mixed add the corned beef in very small chunks, mix again and leave to simmer for about half an hour.  This can be pureed to any consistancy from smooth to leaving it how it is.  All my kids loved it and i'll be makin it for aimee too.  I always made a bit extra so if lo couldn't have wot we were having i could use it.  Just put single servings into freezable dishes.

FISH SUPPER:  Take a piece of yellow smoked haddock and soak in just enough milk to cover it for about half an hour.  Make some mashed potato in your usual way.  Add a small amount of corn flour whilst slowly heating the fish.  Cook desired veg at the same time.  For adults you can add a little salt and pepper to add to the taste but for baby it is advisable not to.  When the fish is cooked blend and serve.  Blend the veg and serve the mash.  All items can be frozen in ice cubes for another day.  All my family love this meal, hope u enjoy too.
