Thanks girls for your replies. I was wondering the other day OMG what have i posted (not that i was looking for replies) just you know when you are 2 scared to looked, u get carried away with your own story & find out it didnt in actual fact follow the initial thread..

This thread is really for ppl who have experienced Prem births but also what other experiences you have been through...

We are here hun to listen to everything. Its nice that you can talk about it openly.

My girls can crawl but not quite yet walking. They are 14 months so i know it won't be long... xxxxxx

My friend may be induced today at 36 wks due to pre eclampsia. Waiting for blood results.

Latest news Bp went down and wanted to wait till the weekend when she will be 37 weeks. But in the night bp shot up and baby was in distress both are being monitered closely. This morning baby has been scanned weighs approx 5 n half pound. Been told if baby is delivered will be very ill and doubt lungs are fully develped. Just monitering and trying to control bp with drugs. But may have baby if in distress Will keep u informed.

Aww hun sorry to hear about your friend but to be honest the baby's lungs should be ok. This is early but i know ppl who have had their babies earlier than that and been ok. Even when the lungs haven't been developed properly. Also if they were that worried they would give her the steriod injection which will help the lungs to develop properly.

Anyway i hope she will be ok and lo hangs on a little longer. Keep us informed hun. xxxx

All is ok!!

My friend came out of hospital. Having her bp checked every day average is 85. Ok at the moment if has to go in hospital again they will deliver the baby now shes over 37 wks.

Thanks for your support girlsxxx

Oh and im being induced wednesdayxx

I  have joined before, but it was so long ago since joining I forgot my name lol.   Anyways my little girl was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1 pound 9 ounces, she is now 3 and a half attends nursery.  Apart from severe vomiting still   which she is now under a gastro for she is doing really well.  she is still really dainty and very petite but has bags of energy

Wow she was tiny. My girls are still really dainty and i think they always will be. They are 19 months on the 5th and still weigh less than 20lb lol. They are doing really well though. xxxx

 hi i had george on may 21_05 at 27 weeks and 4 days,he had a lot of prop from breathing to having 4 blood tranv and 2 bleeds on the brain,,,,,,but the good news he is doing really well now,,,,,and i am 20 weeks preg,i am scard that i have this one early as well,,,,,,,,george has been siged of from the hosp and phisyo now,and is is soooooo speending lol any way take care one and all xx

Wow ladies,

its christmas weekend and im here reading on your experiences a wee bit later than your postings bcause i am new to the site. i thank you for sharing all of your experiences because i may face the same thing soon and its been a month ive been counting down hope to deliver at atleast 36 weeks. im only 32 weeks currently, 4 cm dilated and cervix has thinned.im on medications to stop my contractions but havent had meds to get the lungs to develop..im wondering if they are waiting for me to go to the hospital for that or if they are waiting for labor to come on again...im currently on bedrest scared out of my pants...  i felt a bond with each one of you and thank you as you are my supporters..i will follow up  with you this whole experience before and after..I promise!! hope to hear from you soon, sincerely .... Lina
