Anyway, we're now on day 4 of potty training.  We've had a few minor accidents around the house, but Max has managed to wee in the potty twice.

However, this morning Max asked me to put his step next to the toilet.  He then climbed up, grabbed hold of his  and aimed!  Unfortunately, he missed the bowl and tinkled all over his feet and the bathroom floor.  But I was amazed that he even knew what to do!

Well done my little grown up man!!

He is doing so well.  He doesn't seem to know when he feels like going, but if he's sat on the potty and he goes then he's thrilled to bits...and so are we.

It's early days, but we're happy with him.  We just take each day as it comes.

Well done Max

I much prefer little boys 2 sit down 2 wee as its less messy, as far as i know my 7y/o brother still sits 2 wee as do many of my male friends around my age

is he really doing well?  we don't know any boys his age to compare him.  gosh, that sounds awful!!  you know what i mean-don't you? like i say we take each day as it comes.

he seems to do really well at using the potty at nursery, but he hasn't done anything in the potty at home.  lol lol-twice now he got upset with doing a number two in his pants that he gave them to hubs and then me!!

ewwww that is one habit we definitely want him out off.

i try and sit on the potty every hour and i'm constantly asking him if he wants to 'go'.  when he naps i change his briefs for a pull up, but otherwise he's in pants.

is there anything else we should be doing?

ps rin-i seem to recall seeing the targets in the perfectly happy people mag that comes through the letterbox, but that was many moons ago
