Im really stuggling 2 get food into Ryan

I need some ideas, preferably easy 2 make but as nutritious as possible cause he seems 2 get bored after 3-4 spoonfuls of anything i offer

& finger foods generally end up on the floor

Iv just tried him with rice crispies for breakfast & he spat them all out, im even stuggling 2 get him 2 eat yoghurt

He likes fish fingers & chicken dippers but wont eat very much, im lucky if he takes 1 full 1

I'm struggling with this as well!  Have you tried dried apple you can get them from health shops they can be chewed for ages, and the taste stays as well!

I've just started Fred on toast and other finger foods, Am hoping to try him with Pasta today, with a sauce, so that he gets absolutely filthy and has fun at the same time!  That will be a first as I wouldn't let the last 3 get dirty! lol

Ed loves stews. I do a big pan of veg and meat with stock and let it bubble away for hours then me and dp have it for dinner and the rest gets mushed up for edward.

I find I have to keep Edward entertained at meal times. Playing peepo from behind a place mat etc takes his mind of eating and he opens his mouth when i offer the spoon to him.

I'll have a think about what else.

Ellie loves stews too - I make braised beef and chicken casseroles and then mix them with all different things such as small pasta shapes, mashed parsnip, squash - stews are v easy to make because you just chuck loads of stuff in a pan and leave it for a couple of hours - also, she loves marrow provencale - I'll add the recipe to the recipe thread- it is v simple to make and is absolutely gorgeous!   Ellie loves baby rice cakes (no idea why because they taste like polystyrene) and she'll eat organix cheese breadsticks but she does tend to choke on them so it's a bit stressful when she has them!  She'll also eat pureed apple and pear (stewed first) and mashed banana...  she won't eat fruit as finger foods tho

meant to say, do you give Ryan milk before his food? Ellie won't eat her breakfast for at least 1.5 hours after she has her milk because it fills her up too much - she now only has 2 bottles of milk a day (morning and bedtime) because if she has any milk during the day, she won't eat her solids
