Do u give lo any snacks between meals?

Just wondering cause iv been giving Ryan Rice cakes thrughout the day this week & his appetite seems 2 hav picked up

Not saying its down 2 the rice cakes but id always though snacking between meals would mean eating less at meal times but not for Ryan

Ellen has a snack about 11am which will be half a banana, some raisins, grapes, strawberries, bread sticks, mini cheddars, cubes of cheese.  I mean she has one of these things not all of them lol.  I usually put them on her plate and she sits on the floor munching.

Then she has lunch about 12.30 and then tea at 5pm.  At about 3pm she has some milk.  She also has some of my bread when i have lunch lol x

Whenever Travis eats at the mo he throws up...  I don't know if it's the milk, but he's seeing a Dr tomorrow.

He usually has apple, carrot sticks, any fruit, occasional rusk, but not had them in since the poison thingy...

Hi,

I try to give Ellie snacks but sometimes there's just not the time - if she has a nap mid-morning by the time she wakes up its lunch time etc.

She mainly has toast, rice cakes, savoury baby biscuit things from Boots, cheese, breadsticks etc.

My 2 will have a snack between breakfast and dinner and another between dinner and tea.  Usually some chopped fruit or yohurt.  They both still eat all of thier meals and seem to sleep better at night because they have full tummies.

Trudi.  xx

Ella has a snack midmorning, usually a bit ot fruit or a breadstick if we're out. Or I've given her a thick slice of cucumber - which she likes to gnaw on!!!

I got a pack of dried apple rings the other day and although she likes them, they are a bit chewy for someone with 2 teeth!! Not thought of rasins thought, thats a good idea!!
