I just wondered how many drinks of milk your lo has in a day..

Ella is 10.5 months and has an 8oz bottle at breakfast (some goes on her weetabix), juice mid morning and with her lunch, about 5oz after her pm sleep, juice with tea, then up until Saturday last, 9-10oz at bed time. However, since Saturday, we've struggled to get her to drink 3oz at bed time!

She's teething and I know that knocks everything about, but I wondered if I should knock the pm feed on the head to encourage her to drink more at night. She still has a feed overnight - usually about 10.30/11ish - but only 2oz. Just enough to get her to take her meds and make her swallow to clear her ears. After that when she wakes, she has water.

Juice wise - she probably drinks a total of 3 or 4 oz in a day.

Just wondered what your los do drink wise?

madam has 7oz milk when she wakes up, then I make another 4oz milk to make her breakfast with and she drinks the rest with her breakfast..  for the rest of the day she just drinks water (inc with her meals), and then has about 7-8oz milk when she goes to bed..

I definitely found that when she/I dropped her afternoon bottle she drank more milk at bedtime - before that, she only used to drink 5oz tops

she doesn't have a milk feed in the night anymore either..

Fred takes a 8oz bottle morning and bedtime, and can have anything from 1oz to 16oz of juice, depends on how he's feeling!

I can't really say how many ounces as I am still breastfeeding but Ols has a double feed in the mornings when he wakes up, at lunch time sometimes he wants a double feed other times it's just a quick swig from one side .  When I get in from work it's normally one side and then the other after his bath.  In the night he generally wakes once and has a double feed anywhere from 1am to 5am.

Ellie has an 8oz bottle at breakfast time, then I offer her a bottle mid afternoon but she normally only takes a few oz then her last bottle is at bedtime - tonight she took about 6-7oz I think, some nights its only 3-4oz, and other nights she'll drink the whole lot.

She has juice with her lunch and tea but I wouldn't say she has a lot - just a few sips each meal.

saying that he's teething and going through a growth spurt atm so he's having an extra bottle late afternoon.

he gets 210ml formula, and he drinks lots of water.
